Guardian terms and conditions.
Last updated September 2026. These terms cover the public early-access waitlist at guardiandpa.com. They are adapted from Guardian product drafts for waitlist use.
The early-access waitlist
By joining early access, you ask Guardian to keep your contact details and send product updates. Joining the list does not create a paid account, reserve a plan, or guarantee a launch date, a feature, or a place in line. You may sign up for yourself or for a family member. If you sign up for someone else, you confirm you are allowed to share that person’s contact details if you include them.
What Guardian is building
Guardian is being built as a scam-protection service for older adults and the families who love them. The future product is designed to help people check suspicious messages, get plain-language guidance, stay informed as a family, and involve a trusted person when the risk is high. This website describes that direction. It is not the live product.
Safety guidance is not professional advice
Guardian is a safety-support service. It is not a bank, law firm, financial advisor, law-enforcement agency, emergency service, or identity-theft insurer. Any guidance Guardian later provides is meant to help you pause, understand risk, and decide what to verify next. It does not replace advice from your bank, card issuer, attorney, accountant, insurer, government agency, or emergency responder.
AI and human review limits
When product features launch, Guardian may use AI systems to review messages, images, emails, chat questions, and related context. AI results can be incomplete or wrong. Guardian may escalate serious or uncertain situations to a human reviewer, but human follow-up is not guaranteed to be immediate or available for every situation. When money, credentials, gift cards, personal information, threats, or legal claims are involved, stop and verify through a trusted channel before acting.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate waitlist information, using this site lawfully, and only sharing information you are allowed to provide. Do not use Guardian to harass others, submit illegal content, test stolen credentials, bypass security controls, or impersonate another person.
Family visibility and protected loved ones
If you later connect family members or caregivers in the product, they may see activity connected to the protected person, including scans, questions, follow-ups, notes, safety status, and account events. Only invite people the protected person trusts.
Subscriptions, billing, and gifts
Paid plans are not sold on this static site. When billing is available, plans may be billed as recurring subscriptions through a third-party payment processor such as Square. Gifted protection may let one person pay for a plan used by another person. Checkout, receipts, or billing confirmation will show the current price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation path.
User content and permissions
When you submit the waitlist form or later submit a message, image, email, question, note, or support request, you give Guardian permission to process that content to follow up, provide the service, support family visibility, improve workflows, maintain records, and operate security controls.
Service availability
Guardian may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the waitlist or the future product as the work evolves. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a specific response time, or that every scam will be detected or prevented.
Important limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Guardian is provided without warranties that it will prevent financial loss, identity theft, fraud, scams, account takeover, or other harm. If something feels urgent, threatening, or high-risk, do not rely on this website or a future Guardian review alone. Contact the institution or emergency resource directly through a verified channel.
Changes and contact
